Training & Career Development

We provide training to employees based on their experience, length of service, dedication and loyalty to the company. Our Training Unit identifies training needs through discussions with Unit Heads, and by considering employees’ suggestions stated on the individual annual performance appraisals.

Training for ATG Capital staff is divided into three categories:

  • Invitation on scheduled local & international courses
  • Self-study resources
  • In-house training by using ATG Capital expert staff and/or international experts & consultants.

The Career Development Unit gives employees the opportunity to learn and extend their current range of skills within the company.

The key objective of career development plan is to provide ATG Capital staff with the opportunity to grow and develop within the organization.

Management Business Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and target-oriented asset management business sales executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound sales, with a primary focus on creating discretionary account clients and raising funds. You will engage in fieldwork to establish and maintain relationships with potential investors, ensuring the successful execution of our sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling financial products such as investment funds or insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Sales: Actively engage in outbound sales efforts, including cold-calling, networking, and meeting potential investors to pitch the discretionary account clients and fundraising opportunities.
  • Raise Funds: Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective investors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional clients to raise funds for the company's growth.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Work diligently to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, while maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and investment opportunities to develop a deep understanding of our offerings.
  • Build and Manage Client Relationships: Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, offering them personalized investment solutions that align with their financial goals.
  • Financial Product Knowledge: Leverage your experience in selling financial products such as investment fund and insurance to provide relevant insights and solutions to potential investors.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, investor interactions, and progress towards targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in outbound sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in selling financial products like mutual funds, insurance, or other similar products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to engage in fieldwork.
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment opportunities.
  • A professional and presentable demeanor.

About the role:

As the sole fundraising professional, you will be responsible for proactively developing and marketing the fund to a range of sophisticated institutional investors and individual investors in the globe.

This role will be responsible for putting together marketing material and related matters enhancing the fund's profile and meeting with a range of different investors in the globe, whether this be Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension Funds, Family Offices, HNW Individuals or Institutional Investors.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must be able to show a solid track record of raising capital within the fund and investments space, whether this is in the MENA region or further afield. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of a multi-strategy investment manager and how this is marketed to investors for a greenfield/ start-up fund.
